DR. McMahon earned his bachelors degree in Biology/Pre-med at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His residency training occurred at Bon Secours and Canterbury Partnership for Care (BSCPC) in Hudson County, New Jersey. BSCPC is a well-rounded program rendering experience in the BSPC podiatry clinic, private offices, emergency rooms, hospital floors, operating rooms, and surgery centers.
Dr. McMahon benefited from working in the health system's Comprehensive Wound Care Center learning a multidisciplinary approach to various limb threatening conditions. Some of the most accomplished podiatric and orthopedic physicians in the region, including a fellowship-trained foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon, and the team podiatrist for the New Jersey Nets and Devils and the New York Giants have actively participated in the doctor's training.
After residency Dr. McMahon worked as an associate, for two years, at a high volume multi- office practice in central New Jersey. There Dr. McMahon honed his clinical and surgical skills before deciding to open his own practice in rapidly-expanding Chesterfield County, Virginia. |
